The client had a spare room which wasn't being used very often - if ever at all. The existing bathroom was situated on the ground floor, so it was decided that it would make much more sense to convert the spare room into a bathroom and extend the kitchen and make it larger by knocking the downstairs bathroom and kitchen into one and having a new kitchen fitted.
